When preparing your shipment, please be sure that your contact information including your name and telephone number is included with the shipment.
How long does it take?
Projects usually complete 1 week after arrival of your products; this is our goal. If your project is a large one or if we are under unusually high workload turnaround may be slightly longer. Please contact us and we will be happy to estimate the turnaround time for your project.
What are my payment options?
A deposit of 50% is required to begin all projects. The balance is due upon delivery of proofs. If paying by check, we may require funds to clear before releasing final images.
How do you deliver the finished photos?
Delivery is made via our dedicated image hosting server. You will be provided a username and password which you can use to log-in, view, and instantly download your high resolution images. We also store your images on this server for future viewing at no additional charge. CD if required!.
Can you use backgrounds other than white?
Yes we can. We use white as a good all around choice for most product photography. If your project requires something different we can offer several choices.
For a simple, elegant alternative we offer highly reflective backgrounds for photography in black, grey, and also white. Pricing for these options can be viewed here.
We can also design a special set or arrangement of props to create a more dynamic environment for your products. For this option, please contact us so we can discuss your needs and develop a custom quote.
What if I have large groups?
We will be happy to set-up your large group of products into a pleasing, balanced, arrangement. Pricing for large group photos is based on size and complexity, please contact us and we will be happy to provide a cost estimate.
What kind of license comes with the images?
Upon final delivery the photographs become licensed to your company to use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like, with as wide a distribution as you like, without ever having to pay us royalties for their use. We allow use of the photos in all mediums including, print advertising, packaging, web, television, etc. We do retain the copyright for all delivered photos and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party.
How big can the photos be printed and what formats do you deliver?
Because we only use professional digital cameras and quality lenses, our photos can withstand being printed very large. Many of our clients use our photographs for tradeshow graphics printed several feet across.
We deliver finished photographs in two standard sizes:
Web optimized jpeg
The high resolution images are reduced in size and optimized for use on the web. If you would like the images delivered in a specific size just let us know the dimensions and we will prepare them for a perfect fit on your website.
High resolution jpeg
These full-size images are captured at a camera resolution before cropping. Geared toward print and archival usage, images are delivered at 300 DPI and saved using very high quality settings.
If you would prefer your images to be delivered in a different format we can accommodate almost any requirement. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs (a nominal additional fee may apply).
If you have ordered our masking service, TIFF image format is included at no additional charge.
I have a product that is very large and heavy, can you shoot it?
We are able to accommodate larger size items, if they are very large and heavy we may run into a size limitation. Please contact us first so we can discuss whether we can accommodate your product in our studio. An additional fee may apply for large or heavy products.
What if I would like to have an image re-shot?
While we do our very best to meet your needs the first time, as with any artistic endeavor, the possibility exists that an image may need to be digitally manipulated or completely re-shot in order to meet our client's needs.
